KarCast Privacy Policy
Effective date: 31 October 2026 · Applies to the KarCast Android app (package com.aistudio.teslastream.xkpmzq) and the karcast.app web services.
1. Who we are
KarCast is provided by Responsyve DWC-LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Contact: info@karcast.app.
2. How KarCast works
The app runs on your phone and connects to Android Auto on the same phone. Your car's browser opens karcast.app, which pairs the car with your phone. The picture, sound and touches then travel between phone and car, either directly over the phone hotspot or local Wi-Fi, or, when a direct connection is not possible, through our relay server at app.karcast.app, in transit only.
3. Information processed and why
- Android Auto screen, sound and touch input. Needed to show and control Android Auto in the car. Processed in real time. If the relay is used, it passes through our server's memory and is never recorded or stored.
- Pairing identifiers. The app creates a random phone identifier, and the car browser keeps a pairing token, so the car can reconnect without a new code. Both stay on your devices (the token in the car browser's local storage). Our server keeps only the active session in memory, and only while it is connected.
- Location (optional, with your permission). Your phone's location is given to Android Auto on your phone so navigation apps work. KarCast does not send your location to our servers or store it.
- Microphone (optional, with your permission). Used only when you start Android Auto voice (for example "Hey Google"). The audio goes to Android Auto on your phone. If you use your car's microphone, it is sent only over a verified local connection between car and phone, never through our servers. Nothing is recorded or stored by KarCast.
- Notifications (optional, off by default). If you turn on notification mirroring and grant notification access, KarCast reads notifications only from the messaging apps you select (for example WhatsApp or Microsoft Teams) to show them in the car. They are passed to your car's page and not stored on our servers.
- Network and Bluetooth state. Used on the phone to find the hotspot or Wi-Fi network, check that the car is connected and route audio. This information stays on the phone.
- VPN service. KarCast uses Android's VPN service only to route KarCast's own connections to your car. It does not see, inspect or redirect traffic from other apps.
- Server logs. Our servers log technical events (for example "phone registered" or "browser joined") with a one-way fingerprint of the pairing code and a short session number. They do not log IP addresses, tokens or session content. Our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) for security and operation, under its own policy.
- Website contact form. If you use the contact form on karcast.app, we receive your name, email address, message type and message, plus any optional details you add (phone model, Android version, car model, KarCast version). The form is delivered to us by email through our email delivery provider (Resend). To prevent abuse, the server keeps the sender's IP address in memory for up to 15 minutes to limit repeated submissions; it is not written to storage.
- Feedback. "Send feedback" in the app opens your own email app with a message to info@karcast.app. We receive only what you choose to send: your email address, your message and, if you leave the box ticked, the app version, Android version, phone model and language. We use it only to answer you and improve KarCast.
4. What we do not do
- No user accounts, advertising, advertising ID, analytics or crash-reporting services.
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for profiling.
- We do not collect payment card details in the app.
5. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who run our infrastructure on our behalf, currently Hostinger (website, signaling and relay hosting) and Resend (delivery of website contact-form emails); with Google, whose Android Auto and Google Play services you use under Google's own terms; or when the law requires it.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
- Session data on our servers exists only in memory while connected. It is discarded when the session ends or the server restarts.
- Pairing identifiers stay on your devices until you uninstall the app or clear the car browser's site data for karcast.app.
- App backups are disabled, so KarCast data is not copied to cloud backups.
- Feedback and contact-form emails are kept only as long as needed to handle them, and no longer than 24 months. Ask us at any time to delete them.
7. Your choices
- Grant or withdraw location, microphone, notification and other permissions at any time in Android Settings. KarCast keeps working without the optional ones.
- Tap Stop in the app to end the connection, VPN and relay immediately.
- Contact info@karcast.app to ask about, correct or delete information we hold about you.
8. Security
Connections between your phone, your car and our servers use encryption (HTTPS/WSS or encrypted WebRTC) wherever the car browser supports it, and access requires your pairing code or token. No method is completely secure, but we limit what we process to what the connection needs.
9. Children
KarCast is meant for drivers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's information.
10. Driving safety
Use KarCast only where it is legal and safe, and follow your car maker's guidance.
11. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.

١. من نحن
تقدّم خدمة KarCast شركة Responsyve DWC-LLC، دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة ("نحن"). للتواصل: info@karcast.app.
٢. كيف يعمل KarCast
يعمل التطبيق على هاتفك ويتصل بـ Android Auto على الهاتف نفسه. يفتح متصفح سيارتك karcast.app لربط السيارة بهاتفك. بعد ذلك تنتقل الصورة والصوت واللمس بين الهاتف والسيارة، إما مباشرة عبر نقطة اتصال الهاتف أو شبكة Wi-Fi المحلية، أو عبر خادم الترحيل app.karcast.app عند تعذّر الاتصال المباشر، وذلك أثناء النقل فقط.
٣. المعلومات التي تتم معالجتها ولماذا
- شاشة Android Auto وصوته ولمسات التحكم. لازمة لعرض Android Auto والتحكم به في السيارة. تُعالَج لحظيًا، وإذا استُخدم خادم الترحيل فإنها تمر عبر ذاكرته فقط ولا تُسجَّل ولا تُخزَّن.
- معرّفات الربط. ينشئ التطبيق معرّفًا عشوائيًا للهاتف، ويحفظ متصفح السيارة رمز ربط لتتمكن السيارة من إعادة الاتصال دون رمز جديد. يبقى كلاهما على أجهزتك (الرمز في التخزين المحلي لمتصفح السيارة). لا يحتفظ خادمنا إلا بالجلسة النشطة في الذاكرة، وطوال مدة الاتصال فقط.
- الموقع (اختياري وبإذنك). يُمرَّر موقع هاتفك إلى Android Auto على هاتفك لتعمل تطبيقات الملاحة. لا يرسل KarCast موقعك إلى خوادمنا ولا يخزّنه.
- الميكروفون (اختياري وبإذنك). يُستخدم فقط عندما تبدأ الأوامر الصوتية في Android Auto (مثل "Hey Google"). يذهب الصوت إلى Android Auto على هاتفك. إذا استخدمت ميكروفون السيارة فلا يُرسَل إلا عبر اتصال محلي موثّق بين السيارة والهاتف، ولا يمر عبر خوادمنا أبدًا. لا يسجّل KarCast أي صوت ولا يخزّنه.
- الإشعارات (اختيارية ومعطّلة افتراضيًا). إذا فعّلت عرض الإشعارات ومنحت إذن الوصول إليها، يقرأ KarCast إشعارات تطبيقات المراسلة التي تختارها فقط (مثل WhatsApp أو Microsoft Teams) ليعرضها في السيارة. تُمرَّر إلى صفحة سيارتك ولا تُخزَّن على خوادمنا.
- حالة الشبكة والبلوتوث. تُستخدم على الهاتف لإيجاد نقطة الاتصال أو شبكة Wi-Fi، والتحقق من اتصال السيارة، وتوجيه الصوت. تبقى هذه المعلومات على الهاتف.
- خدمة VPN. يستخدم KarCast خدمة VPN في أندرويد فقط لتوجيه اتصالات KarCast نفسها إلى سيارتك، ولا يرى حركة التطبيقات الأخرى ولا يفحصها ولا يعيد توجيهها.
- سجلات الخادم. تسجّل خوادمنا أحداثًا تقنية (مثل "تسجيل الهاتف" أو "انضمام المتصفح") مع بصمة أحادية الاتجاه لرمز الربط ورقم جلسة قصير، ولا تسجّل عناوين IP أو الرموز أو محتوى الجلسة. قد يحتفظ مزوّد الاستضافة بسجلات وصول عادية (مثل عنوان IP والوقت والصفحة المطلوبة) لأغراض الأمان والتشغيل وفق سياسته الخاصة.
- نموذج التواصل في الموقع. إذا استخدمت نموذج التواصل في karcast.app فإننا نستلم اسمك وبريدك الإلكتروني ونوع الرسالة ونصها، وأي تفاصيل اختيارية تضيفها (طراز الهاتف، إصدار أندرويد، طراز السيارة، إصدار KarCast). يصلنا النموذج بالبريد الإلكتروني عبر مزوّد إرسال البريد لدينا (Resend). ولمنع إساءة الاستخدام يحتفظ الخادم بعنوان IP للمرسل في الذاكرة لمدة أقصاها 15 دقيقة للحد من الإرسال المتكرر، ولا يُحفظ في أي تخزين.
- الملاحظات. زر "إرسال ملاحظات" في التطبيق يفتح تطبيق البريد لديك برسالة إلى info@karcast.app. لا نستلم إلا ما تختار إرساله: بريدك الإلكتروني ورسالتك، وإذا أبقيت الخيار مفعّلًا: إصدار التطبيق وإصدار أندرويد وطراز الهاتف واللغة. نستخدمها فقط للرد عليك وتحسين KarCast.
٤. ما لا نفعله
- لا حسابات مستخدمين، ولا إعلانات أو معرّف إعلاني، ولا خدمات تحليلات أو تقارير أعطال.
- لا نبيع المعلومات الشخصية ولا نؤجرها، ولا نستخدمها لبناء ملفات تعريفية.
- لا نجمع بيانات بطاقات الدفع داخل التطبيق.
٥. المشاركة
نشارك المعلومات فقط مع مزوّدي الخدمات الذين يشغّلون بنيتنا التحتية نيابة عنا، وهم حاليًا Hostinger (استضافة الموقع والإشارات والترحيل) وResend (إرسال رسائل نموذج التواصل في الموقع)؛ ومع Google التي تستخدم خدماتها Android Auto وGoogle Play وفق شروطها الخاصة؛ أو عندما يتطلب القانون ذلك.
٦. التخزين والاحتفاظ والحذف
- بيانات الجلسة على خوادمنا موجودة في الذاكرة فقط أثناء الاتصال، وتُحذف عند انتهاء الجلسة أو إعادة تشغيل الخادم.
- تبقى معرّفات الربط على أجهزتك حتى تحذف التطبيق أو تمسح بيانات موقع karcast.app في متصفح السيارة.
- النسخ الاحتياطي للتطبيق معطّل، فلا تُنسخ بيانات KarCast إلى النسخ الاحتياطية السحابية.
- نحتفظ برسائل الملاحظات ونموذج التواصل فقط للمدة اللازمة لمعالجتها، وبحد أقصى 24 شهرًا. يمكنك طلب حذفها في أي وقت.
٧. خياراتك
- يمكنك منح أذونات الموقع والميكروفون والإشعارات وغيرها أو سحبها في أي وقت من إعدادات أندرويد، ويستمر KarCast في العمل دون الأذونات الاختيارية.
- اضغط "إيقاف" في التطبيق لإنهاء الاتصال وخدمة VPN والترحيل فورًا.
- راسلنا على info@karcast.app للاستفسار عن معلوماتك لدينا أو تصحيحها أو حذفها.
٨. الأمان
تستخدم الاتصالات بين هاتفك وسيارتك وخوادمنا التشفير (HTTPS/WSS أو WebRTC المشفّر) حيثما يدعمه متصفح السيارة، ويتطلب الوصول رمز الربط الخاص بك. لا توجد طريقة آمنة تمامًا، لكننا نقصر ما نعالجه على ما يحتاجه الاتصال.
٩. الأطفال
KarCast مخصص للسائقين وليس موجّهًا للأطفال دون 13 عامًا، ولا نجمع معلومات الأطفال عن علم.
١٠. السلامة أثناء القيادة
استخدم KarCast فقط حيث يكون ذلك قانونيًا وآمنًا، واتبع إرشادات الشركة المصنّعة لسيارتك.
